A Nice Drive, Funny Pictures, and Trampoline!

05/24/12

This was an especially fun day because we went to a river close to us and took some cute pictures, but also some SUPER FUNNY pictures that I'm so embarrassed to show, but will anyways.  :)  Enjoy!  Oh, and by the way, this is an incredibly long post with a TON of pictures!!

We're waiting for therapy.  Grace was going without a nap, so of course she's on edge again.  That's why she has my phone.  The only way she gets the phone is if she's acting so crazy that it stresses me out :)
Aw, how sweet.  Laying on the balls.
On our way on a nice long drive.  We were going to go to a lake, but instead we drove around looking at the beautiful scenery.  My mom loved all the scenery because in California, there are tons of buildings, smog, and too many people.
Here's Miss Cheesy Grace!
Mom and Daughter.  We ended up at a river, where some goofy pictures came to play!
We used to do this when we were younger, and there it is again :)
Oh yeah!  Brad should have been in the middle of us so we could have been 007!
Another cute one :)  I really like this one because of the background, and then the beautiful rocks we were leaning on as well.
Oh, poor mom...so short!  It's ok mom, I'm just teasing you!
And there she is all by herself.  This is one of the ones that will be in Grace's scrapbook.
Show some spunk...oh yeah!!!  There's some attitude you have in there!
Mmmmhmmm!  That's all I can say!
 Check out them lips!
Awww, so cute!  Kisses for my honey!
 Mmm, so cute :)
Some more attitude from mom...Me Ma.
And she did NOT like the cold grass.  She doesn't have her shoes on because she yanked them off in the truck and I was too lazy to put them back on.  Poor girly.
And then all of a sudden???  I found a GEOCACHE!!!  These are left around by people with lists in them for people to sign as they find them.  They leave the coordinates on the website for geocache, and I'm just so excited that we fould one without even trying!!
 Here are our signatures!
And then trampoline time!  I was worried about doing this with my mom because I know she has vertigo, and I didn't want her to get hurt either!  We got some air, oh yeah!
This one above is where I tried to launch her, but instead she fell and my legs buckled!
There she goes.  Getting some balance, some air, and just gotta keep those arms out just in case!
And Mommy is showing off.  I did the stand, fall to the back and pop back up trick.  Simple for me in comparison to what I used to do when I was a kid, but this is all for now.
Grace was NOT happy about Me Ma packing up to go.  I wasn't happy about it either, but the time had to end.
And I know that this isn't the same date, but I just had to show my pretty mama.  Through so much in life, and she's still as beautiful as she can ever be.

School and a Graduation

05/23/12

So Me Ma got to go to Toddler school and watch how much fun Grace has at school!  And then Big Sister Kailyn graduated HIGH SCHOOL!  Hurray!

We are waiting to go into class :)  Grace was so excited that Me Ma was there, and so she was extra excited and rambunctious.
All done with school and leaving to go home, but before we left, we had to take a group picture together!
Aw!  What a cute three generation picture, right?!
And oh yeah!!  Sissy graduated!  We went to her graduation and I tried so hard to get Grace to yell "Sissy" to her, but she wouldn't!  But we were so thrilled and excited to hear that Kailyn got a $250 scholarship, and even better?  She was the first name called!
Last of the night?  Of COURSE it's ice cream time with Sesame Street :)

Cuties

05/22/12

Well, there's just some random pictures that I wanted to share :)

Here's little Miss Grace in her pajamas that I made her a while ago!  Isn't she being the most sweetest girl in the world!
Here we all are just hanging out.  Of course I'm the one taking the picture :)  But I'm in jammies too!
And here's a close of of Me Ma!  It's been so long, but not anymore.  She'll be part of our lives forever!

Activities Part 4

05/21/12

We are finally getting to the end of the exciting 21st Day of May!  I thought I'd share our garden so that people can see what we're dealing with here :)  I really miss our California garden only because it had been worked for years, so the dirt was healthy, ready for a garden, and produced well.  This one has too high of an acidic level...our fault.  So our plants are working hard to live.

This is the left side of the garden, where onions, asparagus, peppers and tomatoes are at.
This is the right side of the garden, where there's red cabbage, giant cabbage, lettuce, brussell sprouts, artichokes, melons, etc.
Here comes Grace!  She absolutely loves coming over to the garden and helping out Daddy in the dirt...what's better for her?  MUD!!  She LOVES the sensory aspect of the mud, which I'm all good for!
A broader view of the garden.  It's odd shaped, but I like it because we don't have to walk so far into the dirt to get to whatever produce comes about.
This is our artichoke plant.  It's been doing pretty well!  This is what all of our other boxes/pails/milk jugs look like.  We leave these on most of the day, and they are covered at night with packing blankets if it's going to freeze.
Grace was peeking because she wanted to see all the pictures that I've been taking!  She loves having me take tons of pictures, just so that she can see them on the little screen :)
It's like you can look into her eyes and see her whole future inside of her!
Another super cute picture of my little girly.
HURRAY!!!  Grace was so excited that we were able to go out in the dirt and play.  For a while, the dirt was always too wet to be able to play in it, but finally, it was dry, and Grace was allowed to go in.
 Her Elvis face!
HUGE garden...kinda.  I think Brad said it's bigger than the one in California.
She absolutely loves the trampoline "lanoleen?"  She now asks for it, and for the most part, if she as, she gets!  I mean, all the language that we can possibly get her to use is awesome!
This is her famous arch.  She does this when shes mad, not liking what I'm having her do, or if she just wants to be silly!  I think with this arch she needs to be in gymnastics.
And last but not least, Miss Electric!  I'm so excited that I finally got a picture like this.  I've tried so many times to get the crazy haired pictures!

Activities Part 3

05/21/12

I'm so excited that there are so many pictures to share and so many memories that we are making!
Grace was being cheesy to the camera, which she absolutely loves to do.  And I love catching it because it's so darn cute!

This pink shirt is one that Dado and Papa gave Grace!  It is so absolutely beautiful, and it has pants that come with it too.
She's running away because she's being goofy!!  She loves trying to hide from the camera because then that means that we are going to chase her, which is one of her favorite games to play!
Where is Grace???  A few seconds later it was..."There she is!!!"  She loves playing peek-a-boo too!
Coloring on her art easel.  This way didn't last too long because it (the crayon) ended up on the walls.  So...I taped them to yarn, which was then taped to the top of the easel, and wa la, no more crayon anywhere but the easel.
AHH!!!  More chasing with the camera!  There's the super cute pants that goes with the shirt!  DARLING!
And another super cheesy face for the camera!

That's all for Part 3!  You'll have to wait for the rest until later, as I'm exhausted and Army Wives is really catching my attention!
