We have 11 chickens, and I love having chickens! They are cute, they are brainless (seriously...they look up when it rains and drown), but they are oh so sweet because when you get close the crouch so that we can pick them up :) Oh, and they get along with our two dogs (6 year old and 6 month old) and our cat...and the dogs chase away the neighbor cats when they try to get the chickens!! Good animals! Codependency rocks!!
Anyways, here's Grace with the chickens!
Daddy was trying to get the chicken to look up, but got his hand in the picture instead!
Mommy, Grace and the chicken. This chicken in particular always comes running up to use when we come out the door so it can get picked up. It will actually try to jump in your lap if you sit down!
And Grace's silly face...and mommy's old hairdo! I don't miss it ONE BIT!!! I just can't wait till Grace can walk so we can let her play with the chickens. I don't let her down now because there's so much poop all over that she'd crawl in it.Amanda
