Grace's Water Therapy

Just a quick note tonight because its my turn to put the babe to bed...yeah, it's WAY late for her to be going down.

Anyways, during therapy today (we did indoor therapy today) she walked for 14 1/2 minutes on the treadmill!!!!! WOW!!! Awesome!! And after that, we worked on standing up while holding onto a bungee cord that was horizontal to her vertical. She would put too much weight on it and fall forward but there were a few seconds that she actually stood by herself, kinda like an old woman crooked forward :) We put no-no's on her legs, which are braces that make it to where she can't bend and sit down (since she needs to start strengthening her balance. After that, we worked on sitting in a normal chair since she will be going to nursery in two weeks, and will need to know how to balance in one of the normal chairs (not the cube chairs). So all in all, a great day! This was a makeup day, so we will be going back tomorrow.
